State of the art software system: Framework is a powerful software package complete with numerous features designed to ensure resident safety and bar code technology to accurately track medications from packaging to delivery. Its ability to interface with a variety of facility electronic health records was one of the main reasons it was selected by our pharmacy.
Electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR): Phoebe Services Pharmacy has the distinction of Premier Partner status for eMAR services with PointClickCare®. Our clinical nurse informaticists were the first in the country to be PointClickCare® IMM Certified Pharmacy Partner Trainers. We provide the training and support for their product, saving facilities choosing this system those initial start-up costs. Our pharmacy was the beta site for development of the bi-directional interface between Framework and Point Click Care, so we are experienced in project management with outside vendors. We also support interfaces from companies like, AOD, Sigmund, Eldermark, HealthMEDX and many others.
eMAR Clinical Support Team: A skilled team of clinicians assist in the implementation of the eMAR system from staff training and physical installation to the transition from the pre-existing system. They are also available for follow up questions and issues.
Packaging: The Parata PASS (Patient Adherence Strip System) offers a new, innovative approach to med-pass. Resident specific user friendly multi-dose strip packaging is utilized for safe and accurate dispensing while minimizing medication waste. Package design is clearly labeled with date, time of administration, medication name & description to assure timely and appropriate administration.
Distribution: New orders and refills are scheduled twice daily for delivery on weekdays and once daily on weekends. Routine cycle medications are delivered weekly. Emergency medication deliveries are provided 24 hours per day. Our uniformed drivers are credentialed and have extensive background checks.
Tech-ready med carts are provided at no additional cost to the facility.
Billing expertise: The onsite pharmacy billing department allows for prompt communication with the dispensing pharmacy staff. This expedites claim processing and adjudication allowing us to better serve the residents and facilities.
Medicare drug plan support for residents and their families is available 24 hours a day through a special hotline. Personal independent drug plan reviews designed to optimized plan benefits are also available for residents and families.
Consultant pharmacist services are provided by highly experienced certified geriatric pharmacy practice credentialed staff.
